While most people don't think about it, every time they get into their car to go somewhere, there is a chance they will be involved in an accident with another vehicle. It is unlikely that this was what a 39-year-old postal worker from Remus, Michigan, was thinking when she got into her postal truck to start her mail route last week.

According to the Isabella County Sheriff, the woman was delivering mail when the car accident occurred. At the time, she was travelling on East River Road in her mail truck. As she did so, a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, attempted to pass the postal truck. Just as the man in the pickup was trying to pass her on the left, the postal worker started a left hand turn onto Stoney Creek Lane. Though the man in the pickup tried to avoid the mail truck, he was unsuccessful and a collision ensued.
